UFP Welcome Back Week

Recently Cryptic announced that today Star Trek Online would become available for past subscribers, earlier then the announced release on the 17th. With this is mind, the Event Officers and Command Staff have got together and planned a week of events for members who may or may not be returning to Star Trek Online. Whether its STFs or PvP your interested in, we have a got a mass of events planned for you including a fleet day to close of the week.

This week of events will be starting from Friday 6th, and ending on Saturday 14th of January. There are 19 events of all varieties for all members of the STO community. I hope that all that can attend, do so and I look forward to seeing everyone come to the great events that we have planned to bring the {UFP} into the Free to Play spirit. The Schedule for the events are listed below and will be listed using UFP Time.

I have not played Star Trek Online in a significant period of time, and as such, I will make every effort to try and attend some of these events. I would urge anyone who has a similar experience to give it a try and see where it takes you!

They say its going to be free to play for all PAST subscribers.

Does that mean anyone who hasnt as yet played it will still have to pay monthly?

If you want to play right now, that's correct. Star Trek Online will be F2P for everybody else on January 17th.

Ill see if I can get it installed ready. I remember during the initial beta, it took forever to fully download and install. I havnt played it since.
