So does each mission in those episodes give unique items or is it just the listed special item? Since if it's just the one mission for the one unique item why did they list all the missions in those episodes?

You have to do the whole series to get the unique item.

But they also apparantly have hidden, special items in them.

The Reman boff is pretty good, even if you just use him to train one of your current boffs. He has Transfer Shield Strength 3...

If it is like previous times... if you had played through them all already, you just have to play the "final" mission that gave the 'limited time' reward.

So, just one mission for the unique item.

They probably listed all the missions to illustrate the full story arc. Say you remember playing some 'dabo' in the Devidian one. Then you know you have the spooky "what lies beneath" and others to complete in that arc. At least that is my reasoning after reading that article.
