New FNN CO and XO Announcement

It's not often that we announce the appointment of a new Commanding Officer (CO) and Executive Officer (XO) but then a shakeup in the normal is good for the health! It wasn't too long ago either that we previously announced Airik as the new CO back last December, but then times change and due to personal circumstances, Airik had to step down.
Over the past month or so, myself and Kyuusaku have been running the department to ensure fleet news is delievered as fast as possible in the quality that is expected from this fleet. Only earlier this week, FNN published an interview that we conducted a while ago with STO Executive Producer, Dan Stahl.
The Federation News Network department is the fleet's source of news from around the clan and the Star Trek community as a whole. Delivering articles lovingly written by our news reporters, providing audio bites from members around the {UFP} and keeping our twitter feed up-to-date, it's the fleet's news centre.
As such, I'm pleased to announce that after a lengthy process, Kyuusaku has been appointed as the new Commanding Officer of FNN, with a promotion to Captain. Also, as a double whammy of an announcement, I'm also pleased to publish the news that Stormy has now also been made Executive Officer of FNN, with a promotion to Commander.
The pair of them both individually and together, have a relatively large amount of experience in the journalism and media industries and I think this is the first time we've had such experienced members in the FNN roles. I want to welcome Stormy as well for the first time, to the CL5 area of the fleet. I very much look forward to working with them and seeing the various changes that the two of them are already coming up with.
