Thorpe Park Trip - Sign Ups & Final Details

Hi guys
Hopefully everyone has had plenty of time now to mull over coming to Thorpe Park with us on September 1st and/or 2nd, and we're now ready to accept sign ups!
Thorpe Park is a thrill seeker's theme park based in Surrey in the UK. It is the second trip we'll be taking to the park after last year's success.
PRICES
Entry Price
Given that prices fluctuate based on the group discount that can be potentially obtained the prices listed to enter the park are the maximum price you will face. If there are sufficient numbers, I will be booking tickets at a discounted group rate - so encourage your fellow UFPers to come too!
Entry Price 1 Day Ticket - £25.92
Entry Price 2 Day Ticket - £31.92
Recommended Hotel - Optional for weekend stay
If you're planning on coming for the weekend, then I recommend the Crown Chertsey Hotel - www.crownchertsey.co.uk
It's where we stayed last year, comes with a free Breakfast and the rooms are more than adequate for the amount of time you'll spend in them. I and others staying for the weekend I have already spoken with will be staying here.
Classic Double or Twin Room - £85 per night
Superior Double or Twin Room - £95 per night
There are of course many other accommodation options open to you in the area, however the location and price of the Crown Chertsey does make it a good option to consider.
If you choose or require to book accommodation elsewhere, please let me know on your final choice.
Extra Spending Money
Naturally you'll want to bring spare cash for food in (and outside of) the park. I also recommend you allow yourself extra money if you want to buy any, on the day fast track tickets inside the park. It's difficult to put a figure on this as it depends on how busy it is on the day, and whether the majority wish to purchase these tickets. TIMING
The park opens at 10:00am. Ideally we want to be able to meet up and be ready to enter the park as soon as it opens. However I understand everyone will have different travel arrangements etc, so specific meet ups can be arranged on an individual basis at a later date.
If you can, you should aim to be at the park before 10am so we can gather and then enter together.
GETTING TO THE PARK
If staying overnight at the Crown Chertsey, you may wish to gather there with others before then travelling onto the park together. There is a bus stop on Heriot Road near the hotel (just outside of Sainsbury's) which runs a service to a bus stop just outside of Thorpe Park.
More details on the bus we'll be taking will be PMed to those going.
I also recommend taking the train to the station in Chertsey rather than Staines if you're staying overnight at the hotel as it's far closer. If coming for the one day, Staines train station is situated closer to Thorpe Park itself.

SIGN UP CLOSING DATE & PAYMENT
Sign ups will close by 6pm BST on Tuesday 21st August. I will then calculate the final price of the tickets based on the amount of attendance and contact everyone that evening on how much will have to be paid.
Group Discount
If there is sufficient number of people to get a group discount I will be booking the group's tickets myself, and payment by individuals attending will be made through the UFP's donation system to cover my costs (more information on how to do this will be made available to everyone if it becomes applicable). If there isn't a sufficient number of people, then I will inform everyone to arrange to purchase their own ticket to cut down on complications.
In the event a group discount is possible and you've been informed of the final price, payment must then be made by 6pm BST on Friday 24th August at the latest. Failure to pay may impact the final price of the entry fee for others - please be aware of this! (though it will not exceed the price listed above).
Please Note: This is only to take advantage of the group discount deal. Anyone is free to make their own arrangements at the last minute if they choose to do so and can be part of the trip overall - you just need to contact me so I'm aware of your inclusion.

NON-UFP MEMBER ATTENDANCE
As with last year this trip is designed primarily for members to meet and have fun. Therefore we'd like to encourage members coming, not to bring along non-members, though some circumstances such as necessity through travel arrangements etc are understandable. This isn't a rule, merely something I encourage everyone to consider.
