In addition to Alec Peters' blog (or Captain's Log) posts focusing on a daily report of the ongoing production, people who contributed money to the movie will be kept in the loop regarding their fulfillment of swag, depending on their reward level.

The crowdsourced movie - backed by fans far beyond their initial goal of $275,000 to $638,471 - is based upon the Four Years War between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. Characters within this world are sourced from well-known actors not only in Star Trek but also Hollywood.

Thanks for posting this up McClintock was a very interesting read. I really enjoyed Prelude to Axanar and it just goes to show that Star Trek fans are alive and kicking outside of the reboot series. It shows a desire and thirst for original episodic Star Trek content is still going strong.
Projects like Axanar go to show what dedicated Star Trek fans can come up, homage to Roddenberry's vision for the TOS. I really like that they managed to get some of the big name actors who appear in other Star Trek tv series as well.

Thanks again for this McClintock! Smile

Thank you for the update McClintock! I'm really anticipating for this one. I feel as if people are just thirsty for anything non-JJ related Trek to come back on the silver or small screen and Axanar does offer an impressive story/movie quality to.

I can't wait to see the final product. I loved the Prelude to Axanar and I am impressed with what independent productions are accomplishing with the franchise.
