• Playstation users with a Plus account will get the Wrath of Khan Starfleet Uniform
• All console players who link their account to Arc will get the Khan outfit
For PC players, these items exist or previously existed for purchase through various means, the Steamrunner used to come from the Steam pack, which at the time of writing this, is no longer available. The Andorian Light Escort came with the Neverwinter Founder Pack, also no longer available. The Wrath of Khan uniform has been given away many times on PC and the Khan outfit was acquired free for using the Arc client, not sure if this is still the case.
These packs will be returning again to PC for those who want to buy the ships, thanks to the lovely people at reddit, I was linked to a post LaughingTrendy made, stating "So just want to give a little insight as to why the packs are no longer available on the Steam store. After looking into things carefully, we found that some people were able to get the contents of the Steam packs for free.", some players also speculated that grey market sellers might have been a contributing factor too, but on the subject of the ships returning, LaughingTrendy said "With regards to the Steamrunner, I’m currently looking into options for folks who still want to get it.". It's a pretty safe bet that the PC will be seeing these ships return, perhaps even a T6 Steamrunner in the future, who knows!
Moving onto the R&D, where you can find our discussion thread here if you want to read what members have already said. The promotion for the current R&D brings a range of 23rd century prime ships, in a tier 6 version. The Constitution class is certainly something many people were not expecting to see. There are mixed feelings on the promotion, some people will gamble away and be happy with the ship, others aren't happy that it is being done this way, a gross understatement to be sure.
What I will personally say is that they look very nice, but I probably won't be trying to get one, if it was a Miranda, that would be a different story. It would be interesting to hear what your thoughts are, on either the console exclusives or the R&D promotion, maybe even both!
