The Undiscovered Lockbox is the newest lockbox in STO to be, discovered (I'm sorry!), bringing with it a range of ships, weapons and Lobi items, fashion sense not required! The big prize in the box is the ship, which will be a 23rd Century Tier 6 Dreadnought, one for each faction. The design is set in the TOS-era, to continue the theme of the recent Agents of Yesterday expansion. Each ship has it's own trait and console, the Fed trait granting more power, KDF giving a damage ability with disable and Rom gets a shield boost effect when used with certain powers. The design of the ships defiantly fits in with the era and they do look quite nice, all of them.

One thing a few people have been anticipating is the Tier 6 NX-01, something that doesn't make much sense but will certainly be interesting. This is bought from the Lobi store and can only be purchased by Federation captains, there is no equivalent ship for the other factions, a bit of a disappointment. Although, the good news is, they can still get the trait and console, so not all is lost!

As you can probably tell, there are also weapons, as always! These are Pulse Phasers and Assault Phasers, the effect they have is that they can decrease your targets damage resistance and increase your own, looking at the picture, they might also be blue, which is always a boost. The Lobi store will have a variation of the Type II pistol that you can pick up, if that's what you want, personally, I love using pistols for ground, even if it means getting shouted at for it.

Back to the meat of the box and away from the Lobi store for a moment, you will be able to get the usual assortment of consolation prizes, but there are some duty officer missions, with big dilithium rewards and an ingame title when you have completed them all, who could say no to that. Then there are bridge officer training packs for Eng/Sci/Tac, more details on the Arc page about that, linked at the end. That about covers the lockbox, but not the Lobi store, let's go back there.

If you like pets, but have too many on ground, the Lobi store has you covered with a new space pet, the Farpoint Cnidarian Companion, which looks a lot like a colourful jellyfish, lovely. Or, you want to look like a space racer, you can put on your Experimental Environmental Suit and look like you're about to enter a race, I don't think it looks too bad anyway. Unlike the final piece, but first, I shall tell you that this lockbox is released with the launch of Season 12: Reckoning and you can find all the other details here.
