"The Autobiography of Jean-Luc Picard is an in-world memoir chronicling the story of one of the most celebrated names in Starfleet history. His extraordinary life and career makes for dramatic reading: court martials, unrequited love, his capture and torture at the hand of the Cardassians, his assimilation with the Borg and countless other encounters as captain of the celebrated Starship Enterprise." - http://trekmovie.com/2017/03/09/jean...y-novel-title/

So, what's this all about?
It's recently been announced by 'Titan Books' that a book called "The autobiography of Jean-Luc Picard", edited by David A. Goodman, is coming out soon, hopefully this fall, (Autumn). This will be a follow up from their last book, "The autobiography of James. T. Kirk". It's retail price is reported to be $24.99 in the United States and £17.99 in the United Kingdom, rather than 'Titan Books'' James T. Kirk autobiography's price of $21.99. This will hopefully be as good as their other book, which received a 4 star rating on Google Books.

When's the release date?
It should hopefully be this Autumn. Hopefully the 7th of September.
Other books released this year have been "Star Trek Cats." which Three talked about in her thread, HERE as well as an article HERE - I'd recommend that you read the article as well if you haven't done so already! It is avaliable for Amazon Preorder HERE.

What's the book about?
The book is written by David A. Goodman, who also wrote The Autobiography of James T. Kirk. and is a take on the entire life story of the, arguably, best captains in Starfleet. It will include all the iconic moments from TNG and episodes where he plays a big part. A quote from the Scott Collura,
"He defeated the Borg and saved humanity's future. He battled the omnipotent imp Q many times, and always came out on top. He worked alongside Ambassador Spock, formed a legendary alliance with Dathon ("Darmok!")... and also played the Ressikan flute from time to time. As captain of the USS Enterprise-D (and -E), he led his crew to strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilisations. He is Jean-Luc Picard -- and his memoirs are coming to a bookshelf near you soon."
This shows that this book will be an epic read, and I hope that all Star-Trek Fans give it a read, and enjoy it.

I really, really want to see if they can get Patrick Stewart to read the audiobook. That would be perfect.

I seriously hope that it would be in binary. Also, Sir Patrick Stewart should be reading it. I would get it immediately.
