A few days ago, the nominations for the Diamond Gem Awards were released, of which you can find the full list here, with some more information on what each means.

The nominees themselves are "chosen by a panel of Diamond product specialists", of which they say that the reason is due to the impact that the comic, or publisher has had on the industry, and overall performance. The website around the awards gives some notice to changes to previous awards, if anyone has been following such.

On the topic of the Star Trek TNG: Mirror Broken comic however, it has been nominated for the 2017 Comic Book of the Year $3.99 or Under and the 2017 Best Free Comic Book Day Book. There is some strong competition in both categories, with Batman, Rick & Morty, Doctor Who and Wonder Woman, to name a few titles which have proven popular recently.

Perhaps will we see this comic win one of the two awards, or both! Has anyone had a chance to read Mirror Broken? Or any other thoughts on the awards!
