As some may know, Sheffield in the United Kingdom is my hometown, and as many of you are aware, my name is influenced by Borg names. There are a few conventions that take place here throughout the year, and one coming up in August has confirmed Alice Krige as one of the guests, who those in the Star Trek fandom best know her for the role of Borg Queen.

The first time we see the Borg Queen played by Alice is in the film "Star Trek: First Contact", she later came back to that role in Voyager, with the episode "Endgame", prior to that, the Borg Queen in Voyager was played by Susanna Thompson, or there are hive queens, and one overall queen, but that's a debate for the forums, and not for this news. Alice also took on the role in the game Star Trek: Armada II and Star Trek: The Experience - Borg Invasion 4D.

Alice Krige does also have a very extensive filmography, and having some overlap in apperences within shows other Star Trek actors have been in, such as Becker where Terry Farrell (Jadzia Dax) was a main character.

If you would like more information for the convention, here is the main page and you can click here to see the guest appearence page for Alice.

"...Borg implants can cause severe skin irritations..." - EMH on Star Trek First Contact

For the role she played despite not having an extensive filmography, she did leave a notable mark in Star Trek as a very compelling Borg Queen / Leader, seductive and menacing in a certain light.
