Trolls Spoof STO CM on Twitter

Ambassador Kael, Community Manager for STO, has been the target of Twitter trolls.

The community manager for Star Trek Online, Mike Fatum, known widly as "Ambassador Kael" has been the target of Twitter trolls over the past few days. The reason for this is not something I am aware of, but the nature of their comments seem to be related to consoles, so it's possibly related to something on console.

Twitter is quite well known for having parody accounts on it, such as @BorisJohnson_MP, which goes by the name "Parody Boris Johnson" or @HonestGoogle, which uses the name "Honest TeamYouTube ᵖᵃʳᵒᵈʸ". The difference you can spot with these accounts is that they identify themselves as parodies. Without identifying as a parody, an account tends to look like immitation, rather than parody.

His Twitter handle has been spoofed in clever ways in some cases, so if you are in doubt, just double check, and if you do see an imposter, you can report that account to Twitter.

Looking through his feed (don't have twittler, so don't know if I see all) probably the same reason why I grind your gears all the time.

Ah I tend to stay away from political discussions. They can get very heated.

Well, it's the only reason I see why. Dosn't mean I'm right.
Yeah, I try too...but mostly fail. 2019 was fine... This year sucks!

Interesting, I must say I very much have enjoyed the parody accounts of Boris and Theresa, always made me chuckle.

there's this huge thing going on about how he says one thing then cryptic do another (not entirely his fault) and the sheer volume of Errors in the blogs he puts out, such as console specific blogs referencing PC fixes really bad copy pasting, spelling mistakes, general errors in information etc. So i guess it was a matter of time before he got trolled

Bearing in mind I don't think its entirely his fault. He is clearly overworked as the CM and makeshift STO programming assistant. They literally only ONE full time programmer, I'd say the blame lies with perfect world over its treatment of employees.

The whole operation is very half-arsed these days; about the only people actually seeming to take any pride in doing a good job are the art dept. with the ship models and environmental work.
Everything else is very much just "that'll do for now" attitude it seems; just shove out any old crap to make a quick buck and then pretend it never happened when you move onto the next thing to sell.

I mean 2020 has been a weird year but when more people than ever have been playing games they seem to have made no effort to actually add anything to the game to entertain people. Since the 10yr aniversay we've had little content but cash-grabs; the Legendary bundle, endless promo events; buyouts for literally everything. It's literally at mobile gaming levels of cash-grab tackiness now.

Add to that a CM who is constantly making an arse of things with regards to communicating to the players/customers and it's easy to see why people are getting pretty fed up.
I don't doubt Kael is very busy, but some of the errors and embarrassing mistakes he makes are literally elementary school errors. Basic checking of dates that make sense, spell checking, making statements that are vague and just cause confusion. Then there's all the lazy copy-paste nonsense which is not even limited to blogs; it's in the in-game tooltips as well.
Everything just speaks to me of an operation that either a) cannot be arsed to do things professionally as long as they rake in the cash, or b) is utterly incompetent.

Community mangers are normally the messenger and doesnt go well with most messengers. Ever heard the saying "Dont kill the messenger." Well in this case and many other CM are slaughter all the time with mishaps.
