The New MSI RTX 3090 Ti Suprim X

MSI announces a new graphics card with better than average freebies

Another day at the office... another graphics card!

While most manufacturers offer reference cards and a simple cooler as an entry point with Nvidia-specified PCB's, MSI overdelivers with a proprietary PCB, and a better than 'entry level' cooler served stock on its several solid mid-range models, and a flagship that boasts a particularly high clock, outstanding RGB lighting, a dual BIOS, and its own upgraded cooler. At MSI, the Suprim X models are the spearhead of this run, and information about the MSI Geforce RTX 3090 Ti Suprim X was hard to come by up to its recent release.

The flagship is to be launched with a triple fan design as before, and will now occupies 3.5 slots. The GA102 on the RTX 3090 Ti is supposed to have 10,752 Cuda cores in its full configuration and in contrast to the "normal" RTX 3090, the faster GDDR6X memory with 21 Gbps from Micron (IZU46 D8BZC) is supposed to be installed. The GPU boost clock increases from 1,860 MHz to at least 1,950 MHz in gaming mode and 1,965 MHz in extreme mode as noted to the reference card. The TDP of the RTX 3090 Ti Suprim X increases from 450 to 480 watts for this purpose, but it is still within the specifications of the 12VHWPR, which is supposed to be used on this model instead of three eight-pin connectors.NvidiaSUPRIM%20Rear

The cooler itself seems to have been deeply revised compared to the Geforce RTX 3090 Suprim X, as the new RTX 3090 Ti Suprim X weighs another 200 grams more with a weight of 2.1 kg. On the other hand, everything is supposed to remain the same on the connectivity side and three DP as well as one HDMI port are supposed to be available.

The RTX 3090 Ti is scheduled to be presented on March 29. The prices are supposed to increase once again compared to the normal RTX 3090 and the MSI Suprim X variant will certainly be one of the more expensive custom models of the RTX 3090 Ti. The RTX 3090 TI will cost approx. 2148€ or $2357.

What do you think of the new addition? Let us know in the comments below.

It's certainly a beast, but I don't even consider the 3090 a gaming card. Don't really have a use for this.

Also, I just bought a new PC (minus a graphics card) that cost a lot less then this card. Smile
