66% off on Steam at the moment, for the price (£10.19) I am tempted to give it a go. Anyone else here have it or interested in it?

Not really interested in the single player but I like multiplayer games that feature co-op hoard modes against AI (Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, Left for Dead 1 and 2, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, PayDay: The Heist etc) which this title does.

Space Marine’s Exterminatus mode is Now Available!

Exterminatus mode pits an elite squad of four Space Marines against hordes of alien enemies in a score based fight to the death. Players can choose the Tactical Marine, Devastator or Assault Marine as well as utilizing any weapons and perks available to those classes.

Each of Exterminatus Mode’s scenarios, ‘Assault on Hab Center Andreas’ and ‘Escape From Kalkys Facility,’ feature global leader boards challenging players to better their scores by completing dynamic challenges as well as utilizing score modifiers which increase game difficulty in exchange for additional points.

Experience earned while playing this mode counts towards the game’s multiplayer ranks, allowing players to earn progression in both Co-Op and multiplayer.

Played it on Console, didn't really like it. To me it felt like those really bad classic action games; where your character just smashes the crap out of waves of enemies.

I'm sure that has somthing to do with me being one of the nerds who played the board game. I wanted it to be more tactical, more thinking. I suppose even the Dawn of War franchise doesnt give us that anymore.

Multiplayer I found very strange, there was only Space Marine vs Chaos Space Marine. Which I felt made multiplayer quite boring considering there is none/little difference between the two basic units.

At launch the multiplayer was just one team versus another then they added a new mode which was your classic horde style (which is the main reason I am keen on trying it as I like that style of MP).

I am thinking me (and hopefully some UFP buddies) fighting endless waves of evil aliens = win.
