Hello
I recently joined UFP (two days before writing this) after thinking long and hard about leaving my current fleet.
So sort of a Hello and a slight introduction to myself
I've been with STO running the same Char and ship names since beta. I've been playing star trek games since well, i can remember. Probably Bridge commander being my favorite! Because i am a major user of a technical forum related to overclocking computers in the UK we started to build a fleet up. Having in mind, that forum was full of people who were hard core gamers so they have played it all!
However STO flopped and only about 3 of the fleet members (after 200 were all working together in the first 8 months) were ever online. We normally missed one another so ultimately i was Fleet Admiral on my own. It was slightly our own fault as it was for the forums members only. I pretty much maxed out everything i could, got 99% of achievements etc.
When i asked on the forum what people wanted, nobody cared.
I battled on by myself for over a year before finally taking the plunge and deciding to hunt for a UK based fleet. I nearly completed a starbase tier 1 by myself but quickly saw that progression without a fleet was now a dead certain. It was game over. However i had wrote a 6 part foundry series too and sorted a whole Role play/background story to my char.
I was lucky to find UFP. So i took the plunge and moved over.

I like to say welcome and hope you have so far enjoyed are long lasting fleet thats been around for a long time , things are never quite here as there always people online somewhere 
the UFP will and always be evolving and to always give the members the best in a Trek experience , if you have a questions no matter how small or large dont be arfaid to ask

99% is quite a feat and achievement. If I didn't have the alt-oholic problem, I would have strove for that as well.

Thankyou for the warm welcome all, obviously im very attached to my own char and that one fleet i signed up with. But its great to be part of a fleet doing things.
I'm going to get cracking on some new foundry missions and updated bio shortly.
