According to a passing quote from Karl Urban, Benedict Cumberbatch may not be playing Khan after all, he could be portraying Gary Mitchell.

Of course, this is all speculation and wouldn't be the first time we've been hoaxed by JJ Abrams. What I also find confusing, leaked production photos show Cumberbath in a (kind of) Starfleet uniform. If he does turn out to be Khan, sounds like an interesting twist.. unless of course he stole it, which would also be plausible.

No spoilers there, it won't be either of them. The did Gary Mitchell in the comics already and I can't see why they would possibly go with Khan.
