LynxMukka began the meeting and welcomed those that attended the Fleet Meeting for December 2012. He later explained the general outline for the meeting, to which can be listened to in the recording.

SECRETARY OF DEFENCE REPORT

• Fleet Survey Results are in for each of the divisions. Most of the results are positive and I will be going over individual feedback given via the survey with the divisions come the new year.
• Mikester92 thanked the division commanders for getting their recommendations in on time.
• Mikester92 looks forward to working with the divisions in the new year.

SECRETARY OF INTERIOR REPORT

• The department has generally been keeping the status quo - with moderation and so forth.
• Bondgadget76 is currently following a long to do list and is not at the moment looking for any new staff members.

SECRETARY OF DEVELOPMENT REPORT

• Event system has been updated to allow event officers to edit their own events.
• SFHQ members can now edit their own department pages
• The commendations system is currently being revisited again in the new year. SCE will be talking to SFHQ on what commendations they'd like to see.
• Jordan linked the channel a link to the website feedback thread for additional commenting.
• The donators of the fleet were all thanked for their contributions.

SECRETARY OF EDUCATION REPORT

• The Academy has just recently shut down Moodle. Courses will now be delivered via a forum based system.
• Between now and implementation there will be a time period where members may not be able to get promoted to ensign while the command course is frozen.
• More information on the reforms can be found on the forums
• Lazereth has been working on an engineering system for members to look at a jobs listing page via a dynamically updated list where members can apply directly to positions via this system instead of by PM.
• Academy will therefore be taking a more proactive role in enforcing the required courses members are needed to complete to get a position.
• RSO system has been maintained to normal standards.

FLEET CHIEF OF STAFF REPORT

• Federation News Network has been put in a semi-mothballed state. The Herald however will continue thanks to McClintock. A series of issues have created a somewhat broken system. Lynx hopes that for the community changes
• Community changes project is once against starting up again.
• SFC will be keeping an eye on Bridge Commander II’s multiplayer to see if support is needed for it fleet side.
• Internal Affairs will be changing come the new year. More on this will be revealed in due time.

STARFLEET DIPLOMATIC CORPS

• Cryptic have shut off part of their services, which has caused a couple of issues for the department.
• The department is down on staff members for the first time in quite some time. If anyone is interested in applying, please feel free.
• There were issues with a lack of STO Klingon fleet events, but that is being corrected.
• KDF exclusive fleet are forming a relationship with ourselves and Nib is organising a joint fleet event with them next year.

STARFLEET OPERATIONS REPORT

• With the departure of Torinth from the XO post, Wixiban has been transferred from HoK to SFO.
• The Fleet Contribution policy has been changed recently, which has been considered removing on a trial basis and will now remain removed since it is being sensibly used.
• Burtonshaw has introduced a new banking system which allows members to place an order and one of the quartermasters should process it within a couple of hours of the request being made.

HOUSE OF KULAR REPORT

• The upgrade for the Tier 4 Shipyard is up now, so please members donate. The Klingon side does not have a policy for donations.
• Wixiban has left the XO post for SFO and has been replaced by Noram.
• The gates might be opened to have more battle officers. The current pool of officers will be chosen for future Starbase Management posts.

STARFLEET HARRIERS REPORT

• The Simm's timezone is moving forward somewhat for several reasons.
• Caymen Greener would like to do some RPG-X events between now and the beginning of next year. Including introduction events and one off RPs.
• The August Simm will be upgraded to the next version of the Simm software soon.

ELITE STRIKE FORCE REPORT

• Jake Tyler briefly introduced the new division. The aim of division is to train members, whether they're part of ESF or not, to be better at endgame content, at the moment the focus is Star Trek Online of course.
• There will be a focus in the future to increase support for Ground STF events?
• ESF's Black Ops team will be further increasing training for members once certain gear has been obtained by the Black Ops team.
• Instructional Videos are being created by the Black Ops team, as well as Foundry Missions being created by NeoTrident for training.

FEDERATION NEWS NETWORK REPORT

• No report. No longer going to be provided for the time being.

Jordan answered a question by saying that the beginning of next year, the organising of the first Fleet Olympics will take place.

Sharpkiller briefly explained what the Planetary Olympics will be. He also stated that Engineering is not hiring at this time.

• STF Sundays, including this Sunday, is coming up!

LynxMukka and MerTYol advertised a few non-Trek games taking place, Minecraft and Star Wars The Old Republic.

I wanted to thank Laz and the others for representing my Harriers report. I was on schedule to do it myself, but had some family stuff going on. Everything reported in the recording and above in text is correct (as expected). On the simm timelines, we initially fell in line with the STO year, 2409. That was 1.5 years ago. I wanted to point out to sharp and laz, I still gave some of the old CorseExam switching over to Php format, I have limited access at CL3, but If you guys need I can probably get the updated and fixed so people can get the ensign rank and not have to wait nearly a month.

This was one fo the last things i was working on when I was XO of SFA, and then had talked to Sharp after that when I was Still in SFA as a professor, so If you still need, PM me and I can help get those courses integrated into the Forums
