Well Sinclair was in charge for two years in the end and of course he should have ran through the whole series, I never warmed to Sheridan so much but I always felt to some degree this was not about the humans, but every one else.

I still love Babylon 5. It was a great show with a lot of depth. It came out at the same time as DS9 and both centered on space stations so I thought they'd be similar. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Well as people might know there's been a long-running accusation between B5 and DS9 - in that DS9 is a rip-off of B5 from when JMS pitched the idea of Babylon 5 to them. Turned him down, and made their own - changed it just enough not to get sued. Compare it closely.

I think the similarities between the two shows ends with the fact that they are both open space ports and they both have a story-arc involving a war which portrays a less than Utopian Earth. Beyond that, they are two very distinctly different shows.

I've nearly completed my first run-through of the show (nearly done the last season), and overall, I've thoroughly enjoyed the show.

I really liked this series, but didn't really get into it until Sheridan took over. Never did like Sinclair... and I suppose I was a tad upset with the handling of Tomita's character after the pilot episode/movie.

But truly, the character I found most interesting was Zathras.
