Can we have some sort of function that is a list of recent posts in the forum? I like the recently added section but sometimes I am noticing fleet admin is covering up latest posts in a forum section. This means users are having to click into each sub division to see latest posts. (which they wont!)
Would it be possible to implement a latest posts button that just lists all posts in reverse order, with latest at the top? This should also enable members to comment more on posts and ensure threads don't get lost easily.

What's wrong with the big "Updates" button at the top navigation? It shows you all new posts that are unread for you.
The "Updates" button basically performs a search of all posts and lists the newest ones on top wtih a filter for read/unread.
