History in Other Star Trek Fleets
I have been a member of a small fleet of approx 30 people called the 6th fleet for about a year. I am the top contributor to the fleet, however most of the other members including the founders have been AFK for a few months now.

Additional Comments
Due to work i sometimes have to take short breaks from the game (i run my own business which can be very time consuming) but i have always come back and during quiet periods can be found online most days for an hour or two.

Welcome. Sorry to hear about the experience in your previous fleet that definitely isn't an issue you should have here. As for your activity that isn't something you need to worry about, the only requirements in terms of activity are signing roll call which is once a month and takes a few seconds, if you need to be away for a month or more you can just mark yourself as on leave so you don't need to worry about the roll calls until your return.
