    Neat article! Plus I love the thought provoking piece at the end. Personally I think it's a combination of all of the parts, but the biggest influence is the volunteers and community as a whole. I know without the sometimes boundless depths of enthusiasm I have seen from people in this community, it would not be what it is today.

    Plus, reading about UFP BK (Before Kains) amuses me Big Grin

    Good read, nice to read about the group before me joining. I can imagine for the original members that there must be a huge amount of pride at which has become, especially considering what was said.

    Wow, it is very humbling to know how all started, the difficulties, the progress, the problems and the great sacrifice made by so many to make this website, these forums, this clan something bigger than the sum of all those elements, to see how this has become a friendship, a family, a living organism of people who have all one thing in common, the love for Star Trek and what it represents.

    This vision, dream, longing or desire, or all those things together I believe is the goal of those who are called dreamers, fanatics, nerds, geeks, trekkies and all those fancy words people that cant understand our vision throw at us all the time.

    But our vision lives and strives and one day may will come a reality. A vision of a world without wars, without borders, without diseases, without evil, a world with love and respect for all, a world where space travel is the norm, a world where the discovery of new life and new civilizations is the driving force for the development of our human race.
