Hearthstone

I'm not sure how many people have heard of or played Hearthstone, but it's a Blizzard card game based on World of Warcraft, of which I haven't really played, but I have played this and I like card games so it's quite nice.

As it's now in Open Beta, more people can join and play, I think it'd be more fun to play with others rather than random games.

I've been playing it as well, (as I love the card game.)

For a free to play game, it's pretty detailed and does a nice job teaching you the game with the tutorials.
(And it has good PVE practice as well as the PVP match-ups.)

I've also been playing with the Beta version, I like it and though I am not a huge WoW fan I think this will be on my list.

Good to hear

They are going to be adding a story mode in this with some challenging AI who will have cards that are purposefully unbalanced, should be interesting! I've always been a fan of card games and especially ones with pretty pictures.

Would be nice to get some friendly games with other UFPers going

Played it a bit, usually to pass a few minutes between downloads or something. Enjoyable, and since i spent several years entrapped in the WoW-bubble, it's a nice nostalgia trip

I know that feeling, sometimes get a good win and feel great, thinking to be on a roll...and then get steamrolled in the next match...

Don't worry, I consider myself to be around average, think my highest rank is 13 in ladder, got the cards just don't really play too serious at the moment, mainly do the quests then go to arena and do a run there. If you get a lucky draft, you can earn some nice rewards, I stockpile packs from arenas then open them in one go.

The most memorable arena I had when I used my free one at the start, end 0-3 but with the pack I got, Golden Ysera, so pretty.

I've only played a handful of arena games, and got destroyed in most of em, and only slightly less destroyed in the others

I mainly play when I'm working nights now that it's available on IPad. If there's enough people playing within the community, it may be an idea to arrange a UFP Hearthstone Tournament, it could be fun!
