Hello,

First of all thank you to all those who attended the seventh episode, I am very glad that everyone who attended enjoyed themselves and I hope that you guys enjoy the finale on Monday! Now the mission synopsis:

The assault has taken an extra step, we have now fully secured the Poseidon system and are mounting our assault on the Cardassian outpost, due to the delay in negotiations between myself and General Kar'ak, we have had to hold off the attack until Monday - this will be the exact same day that we attack the Zephan interstellar gateway...

Now that the Klingons have joined our side, after sending them details about the interstellar gateway, the General was very quick to help us defeat the Zephan threat, but now we can mount a full offensive into the Cardassian outpost, and then onto the Albirea system.

The 9th Fleet is now in position, and holding in the Poseidon system, and the 6th fleet, along with the 8th fleet remnants are holding the Omega Draconis system. Now that the Klingons are with us, it seems the Zephans have halted their advance - we can only presume that they are amassing their troops, until such time that they can overwhelm all of our forces.

Additional Starfleet ships are en-route to the sector, to get ready for the final push - hopefully, with the Klingons we can now end this threat to the Alpha Quadrant once and for all.

The casualties have been high, and will only get higher...but we must persist...

I am weary about the Klingons though, it was far too easy to convince them to join us, after I gave them information about the gateway - but I am very happy that they are finally with us, but for how long? can this peace last, even after the Zephan threat is gone?

Could everyone who attended - if they would like - post a kind of "Captains logs", which doesn't have to be long, to get more involved in the role-play and provide a more detailed account from multiple perspectives.

I would also like to ask, that those who weren't able to attend, write up a captains log as well, to keep involved with the story
