LynxMukka began the meeting and welcomed those that attended the Community Meeting for March 2014. He later explained the general outline for the meeting, to which can be listened to in the recording.

PRESIDENTIAL REPORT

• LynxMukka went straight into his report and mentioned that he is currently working on an Ethics statement which will cover the main moral values and general expectations of all members of the UFP. There will be an announcement in the coming days about it and from then on, will also be linked in the footer.
• He then also mentioned work has started on a 2014 version of forum signatures and the policies around this are now also accommodating what was recently proposed regarding the restrictions on ship name and registry combinations.
• FEO has recently been working on the development and now implementation of the Federation Council, which is pleasingly garnering a lot of interest already.
• Some changes will be coming in the next few weeks regarding the membership tiers. More on that soon.
• FEO is currently reviewing the process of sending emails to those yet to sign Roll Call in a specific month (24-48 hours before closing). Jonathan-FG suggested creating a setting in myUFP which members could elect or unelect to receive reminder emails.

FEDERATION NEWS SERVICE REPORT

• Connor briefly introduced himself and began talking about the work the department has been doing to expand its reach within the UFP.
• He later went onto talking about creating newsletters in which they will be sent to Herald subscribers and will provide a round-up of news.
• FNS is looking at including more prominent coverage on the UFP homepage in the near future so that news is more visible.
• There were several questions regarding the Federation Herald and other developments.

SECRETARIES OF DEVELOPMENT & TECHNOLOGY REPORTS

• Sharpkiller introduced himself and began to talk about the final preparations being made to the Planetary system which will be used alongside the Federation Council.
• He then made mention of the new notification system which appear on the forums of major events and announcements occurring in the UFP.
• Jordan and Sharpkiller are working on a re-envisioned Elite Force launcher which will allow more functionality than the previous installer.

SECRETARY FOR ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS

• Bondgadget76 introduced himself and then went into his report. He stated the FAB department was going through a review period in which the processes are being reviewed as part of the progress we're making in simplifying the UFP operating model.
• Bondgadget briefly talked about the UFP signatures and the recent proposals.
• He later went into detail about a change to the Community Support Centre ticket system, in which a new section will be added regarding asking general questions about the UFP.

CHIEF OF STAFF REPORT

STARFLEET ACADEMY REPORT

• No representation provided.

SECRETARY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS REPORT

• Written Report Provided.
• Lazereth apologised for not being able to make the meeting but wished to thank everyone, particularly all CL5 for submitting their UFPAC recommendations.
• Due to the ongoing organisation involving UFPACs, there has not been as much focus as desired on booting up the use of Twitter for advertising division events, but this will be occurring in April.
• In April, experiments will be conducted with regards to community interest in streaming Star Trek community content for the entertainment of members.
• The First Contact holiday events are very quickly coming up and Lazereth wished to brief the divisions on ensuring necessary preparation was being done regarding the organisation of events.

HEAD OF STARFLEET REPORT

• Jake Tyler introduced himself. At the start of the year, we saw the Starfleet Harriers relinquish their divisional status and merged with the newly formed Starfleet Reserves.
• Following on from that at the beginning of the new, we have also had a change of command in the Elite Strike Force, with the introduction of Bill as ESF CO.
• More recently regarding the forums, members may have seen the Trade forums, which all members are free to use as a way to buy and sell items relating to Star Trek Online.
• Finally, Jake talked about the monthly holiday events that the divisions are organising, with just a reminder than the next one begins on Friday 4th April, and that's the First Contact Holiday event. Keep an eye out on the calendar.
• As part of a question, Jake reminded everyone to make sure they RSVP on the events system in order to help the event organisers plan ahead.

STARFLEET OPERATIONS REPORT

• A forum cleanup has been conducted and the forums are therefore looking super clean.
• The division has been running pre-UFPAC events this week.
• The second and third fleets are excelling at the moment, and NeoTrident asked members if they were willing to move their characters to 2nd and 3rd Fleets in order to help speed up their final advancements.
• There has been a thread up which was advertising a logistics position and the command team are now going to be reviewing the applications that have come through.

HOUSE OF KULAR REPORT

• Dodgers introduced himself and Cehus, his XO. As mentioned in the last meeting, HoK had finished all of its holdings for its main fleet and has therefore been experimenting as to what to do with projects. They're very much keeping up with Starfleet Operations.
• HoK recently had a departure of one of its staff members, but with that in mind, will be re-opening job advertisements to allow members to take a bigger role in promoting the klingon faction within the UFP.
• Dodgers mentioned a super secret project which has unfortunately been delayed, but hinted that people would be able to take part. Essentially, he revealed it's a special video in which people will be able to take part.

ELITE STRIKE FORCE REPORT

• Bill introduced himself, and talked a little bit about the purpose of the division.
• ESF have brought on additional squad leaders in order to make sure there is enough coverage on STF Wednesdays and STF Sundays.
• Bill welcomed Ashley to CL5, since he has joined as ESF XO.
• Bill's event for intro to ground has been running well, the event provides a good, casual introduction to ground based STFs.
• ESF have been examining changes with Season 9, such as the reputation system and levelling up. There are new kits coming out and posts on the forums have been made about that.

STARFLEET RESERVES REPORT

• Written Report Was Provided By Adster94 And Read Out By Jake Tyler.

• There is an Elite Force competition going on, which will be announced very soon.
• There will be work to increase the advertising for each event, but it also down to the event organiser to do so.
• Reserves are hoping to bring back Star Trek Bridge Commander Team vs Team tournaments, more news of that will be on the forums.

No one had anything to bring up.

• The UFPAC will be taking place tomorrow at 21:30 UFPTIME, make sure to attend!
• There will be STF Sunday..on Sunday.
• There is a pre-UFPAC gathering of members on the main Federation Starbase tomorrow at 21:00 UFPTIME.
• McClintock mentioned that some major changes are taking place within the textual simm roleplay space. If people are interested, by all means check it out on the forums and apply.
