Hey everyone,

I thought it'd be interesting to ask what everyone's favorite Star Trek race is, from any Star Trek series. Personally I really enjoy the Klingons because I admire the sense of honor and loyalty that a Klingon warrior exudes! But that's a little mainstream isn't it?

So as a secondary choice to spice it up a bit I would have to say that the Vorta is one of my favorite races considering that they are a sub-servant race of clones created by the Founders to control and command the Jem'Hadar. It's an interesting race, with the brief bit of Vorta history we got in "Treachery, Faith and the Great River" that the Vorta were nothing but primates before the changelings made them immortal (so to speak). It's shame there's not much lore surrounding the early Vorta.

What's your favorite Star Trek Race?

I would have to say, without hesitation, the Romulans. I've always liked their more subtle approach, their cunning and their sometimes depicted code of honor.

I was always disappointed that they were not shown more on the TV series. Nemesis was a big disappointment to me since they take a secondary role to the Remans and Shinzon.

One of the reasons I am still playing STO is the Legacy of Romulus expansion, even though I don't use my Romulans as much as I should.

I like a lot of the star trek races. My two favourites are the klingons and cardassians. I found them to be the most interesting with their unique perspective on human society. Martok and gul dukat sell them pretty well too.

Indeed Hermanator, Marc Alaimo and JG Hertzler definitely made the Cardassians and Klingons very interesting. I've always been disappointed that Cryptic did not keep Martok as Chancellor of the Klingon Empire and give us the rather underdeveloped J'mpok although some soft cannon does follow the STO story line with J'mpok rising to power after overthrowing Martok.

I like the Trill, but that may be because their representatives in the shows happen to be foxy ladies with spots that go all the way down. :emoticon_ShiftyEyes

Outside of those intrepid Humons, I'd have to go with Klingons.

The Andorians have always been my favorite.

Interestingly enough, Bajorans, have always drawn my attention. Perhaps it's their spirituality or their struggle as a people to rise past oppression. They do have cool earrings!

I'd have to say Vulcans for my favourite race, however the Etherians from Elite Force would be a close second.

I only remember one race on screen, the Antarian Trans-stellar Rally, so that is my favourite!

I would say the Borg but I don't really consider them a separate race as they are a collection of different races, so I am going to go with Trill, mainly for the spots, they are pretty spots. Andorians are cool too, they fight in heels!
