I'm curious, why specifically are you looking to use Conn Officers? Are they just stand-ins for Tactical doffs? I don't recall many of the assignments needing Conn Officers, but, well, memory and I aren't really on speaking terms...

I've long used Marauding as a source of Contraband, but I never thought to cash it out in the Exchange before (I turn it in for dilithium). As a proof-of-concept for my own curiosity, last night each of my 5 KDF chars did this run and put a stack of 20 contraband up for sale. Here's hoping they move quickly...

There are a few assignments on my rotation that require Conn Officers otherwise yes, they can stand in for generic tac officers.

Given recent Dil prices, you'll probably get your stack(s?) selling pretty quick! Just remember, if you want them gone fast, price competitively. Otherwise, it's fine to let the market play out.

It might be worth mentioning the additional assignment slots one can purchase at the fleet embassy, no? Helpful if you want to get other stuff done while so being chock-full-o-Marauding.

Yeah, I did look before I posted it, and it seemed to be in line with the prices I was seeing. I'm still working on getting better at the Exchange, so I might need to fine-tune my pricing.

As an FYI for contraband. I find it best to separate a stack of 10 and post them up individually. In my experience lately they have started selling before I have all 10 on the exchange. Posting up more than 10 I've found instantly depresses the market price, but the 10 seem to sell so fast the price stays the same for your next 10. I've found when posting large stacks they usually don't sell in the time period that their pricing is accurate for.

You get them in both places, you have to alternate between the two to collect everything.

ya, but I keep finding you have to go into planets and back out to reset it from where you start, unless they fixed that.

Where do you sell the prisoners for EC, I only find the Dil mission on Qo'nos

I toss my prisoners on the exchange when my brig fills up. They don't fetch a high price each, but they have a high churn rate.

It's been awhile since I've sold prisoners, but in general you're better off turning prisoners into dilithium, though not the mission from the security officer (it takes 10 doffs for 1k dil unless you get lucky and wit ha base 28% chance of disaster its far too easy to fail).

Forced labour requisition for <system> which takes 4, coughs up 500 dil and has a base 4% chance of disaster or Forced Labor Camp in <star cluster> which is slightly better since it only takes 3 doff and coughs up 350.

Bonus points: while you're running around star clusters do your colony chains and/or run the support mission at the end of them. A success should get you a refugee/prisoner (fed/kdf) , and a crit success gets you the refugee/prisoner and a specific bound purple doff. Which can be good in it's own right (some of them come with 2 crit traits for the support mission!) but you can also grind them down to blues to sell/keep/grind back up to purple/grind down to white for the starbase.


Extra bonus points: Know how Cehus recommends you get blue or better security and operations doffs? T'Ong Nebula coughs up purple security officers, while the Arucanis Arm and Azlesa Expanse cough up purple operation doffs.
