Mission Outcome:

We got really close (2%) to killing Sire Denathrius but alas, we couldn't finish the job. However, we managed to raid with a full raid group which is really good!

Holodeck After Action Report
Stardate:24/04/21

Game: Hearts of Iron 4

Officers Present: Three of Seven - Germany
Jordan - Hungary
Chris Wilkinson - United Kingdom

Mission Outcome:The game started with an agreement to work together and create a new European Monarchy.

Each country worked to move down the appropriate focus tree. Germany quickly invaded Poland and made that part of the Reich along with the Netherlands.

Once Britain brought the King into power, it quickly invaded France which was then split (along with it's territories) between the UK and Germany. Hungary was a little late into the fight.

Hungary also merged with Austria as well.

Europe was then quickly brought to heel between the three major powers of the continent with Hungary taking a chunk of Italy, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia.

The UK took this time to secure Ireland and Canada along with a few of the other dominions which had left the empire.

At this stage, the three powers devised a plan to attack the USSR. This was done with Iran and Afganistan also joining the fight as they agreed to become puppets of the UK. Germany valiantly led the charge and once the USSR fell, it's lands were shared out.

At this stage, there was an ongoing war with China as Japan was also in the faction and with their monarchy intact. This is where we left the European Monarchy. See the image below.

Mission Outcome:

We didn't get to kill Denathrius this week but had a lot of fun nonetheless running through the entire raid again for the first time in a while. We've also completed the guild achievement for all Heroic bosses, and people got to try out their alts as well.

Stardate:08/05/21

Game: Hearts of Iron 4

Officers Present: Three of Seven - German Empire

Mission Outcome:We picked up where we left off 2 weeks ago with an invasion of China underway.

The German Empire, British Empire and Japanse Empire were all working towards defeating the combined Chinese forces. This moved slowly due to the lack of infrastructure but this was overcome and the European Kingdoms was victorious and split China up.

After the peace conference, there was two China's left, the big one and a little one.

At this time, the British Empire was reorganised into the Imperial Federation.

Austria-Hungary began to justify against the Kingdom of Romania while the other two major powers began to move troops into Canada to prepare for a land invasion of the United States of America.

When this invasion was launched, the battle on the east coast didn't move at all, however the midwest began to fall slowly. Rommel led the charge into Alaska and pacified that area with very little resistance. He was then moved over to the east coast to help out.

Slowly but surely, the combined forces began to slowly push the Americans through the midwest and Rommel primarily pushed the east coast. Once their lines were broken, he quickly moved to secure New York, Washington DC and Philadelphia.

The Imperial Federation lost over 3 million troops during the course of the campaign as there was a severe weapon shortage, but the Allied forces overcame the American aggressors with their Mexican allies.

Mexico found itself a puppet of the German Empire whilst gaining control of California, New Mexico and Texas.

Austria-Hungary launched a successful invasion of Romania while America was being invaded and increased their land while also releasing Yugoslavia as a puppet.

They then proceeded to invade both Greece, Turkey and Iraq.

The four major powers of the alliance then launched an invasion of India, Burma, Bangladesh and Pakistan which led to these countries being brought back into Allied control. During this war, the German Empire also began a war with Switzerland who joined the Bangladesh alliance.

Bangladesh was given to the newly formed Kingdom of Scotland, the Imperial Federation took India, Pakistan and puppeted Free India and Germany took Switzerland.

Out of all of the generals on the field, particular note has to be given to Rommel who led not only a lot of successful attacks, but managed to encircle and destroy a large number of enemy divisions.

We've called the game as over at this, as the only countries left are relatively small. Our campaign to bring Monarchy to the world was a success.
