Today marks an auspicious day in the development of the UFP as a community. The Federation Executive Office has come to the decision, by unanimous vote, that FEO and SFC shall be merged into a single functioning entity. We see this act as being an important step in bridging the gap between the two distinct sets of leaders. With both groups now being on the same train of thought, ideas will be communally implemented in a far more democratic and swifter pace than has previously been experienced.
With this sudden influx of senior leadership, steps have been taken by existing members of FEO to ensure a smooth transitional period. Jordan is being elevated to the position of Vice President whilst Sharpkiller will be elevated to the less mentally demanding role of Co-Vice President. He will be in charge of general community administrative, logistics, happiness, and joy.
The following information consists of a breakdown of several of the new FEO members and their respective duties:
- KerryMalone is being nominated to the newly created role of Head of Interplanetary Initiatives, due to his previous experience in diplomatic affairs.
- Ashley is being named the Head of Legal Affairs due to his expert knowledge of the judicial system. This will also mark the return of the JAG Department, in which Ashley will be charged with ruling judgement of all legal and behavioural affairs.
- With expert knowledge in the technology of many cultures, past and present, Three of Seven will be taking over from Jordan and Sharpkiller as Head of Technical Services, resistance is futile.
- Novalance is being moved to Head of Paint Drying Observation for his exceptional skills and attention to detail.
- Bill has been created the first Head of Vocal Affairs; handling all vocal initiatives. His voice will feature predominantly in the propaganda videos (planned to be released on a tri-monthly basis) of the new regime.
- Dentari is raised to the level of Supreme Secretary of Historical Information, overseeing censorship and book burnings for the foreseeable future.
- Fallen will be taking the title of Lead Commander of Hello Kitty Adventure Island, a role which we feel he is perfectly suited for.
- Sammygm has been deemed the perfect candidate to oversee all issues pertaining to Star Trek Online.
- The ever dependable Keenan is being given the remit of Junior Undersecretary of News Affairs.
- Wixiban will be Head of April Fools due to his exceptional skills in Jokes.
Additional positions will be distributed in the coming days and weeks, to ensure that all former SFC members will be integrated into the newly reorganised FEO. Those SFC members being elevated to FEO will also receive significant pay packets and an all expenses paid holiday to Risa, all of which is generously being financed by Bondgadget.
We welcome all members of the community to make recommendations for new FEO members and their specific position titles. With this new top heavy form of leadership, we hope to effectively rule with an iron fist, whilst also seeing to the wants and desires of the proletariat.
