Launched last year, the UFP Elite Force Disintegration Tournament is once again coming to town for 2015 and hence due this announcement! The success of last year's series of events was superb and I think it's safe to say that all participants enjoyed themselves, having something to remember for years to come.
Thus, in order to continue the tradition, and to further demonstrate our support for Elite Force, I officially announce the launch of 2015's tournament, run by myself similar to last year's but with a couple of adjustments. The Tournament itself is open to all members, and anyone passing by on the forums, so long as you register and become a member of the UFP. If you have the interest and guts to show your skill, then register for this new once a year opportunity which will be remembered for years to come.
WHAT'S THIS TOURNAMENT ABOUT?
We're running a tournament which is due to start in the next few weeks in Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force, with one of our own servers. Using professionally played maps, all players will be fighting in the disintegration game mode, where one shot equals a kill. The resulting gameplay is fast-paced, fun and no second is ever the same.
We'll be using classic maps including pro_voy1, pro_voy2, spyglass and faceoff. The tournament, which will be arranged into teams of 4-5 (depending on signups), will focus on the traditional style of capture the flag and a variety of training and practice nights will be set up shortly to build up all of our skills and suspense.

Teams will be selected by myself, based on skill, however you can still select a preference (it just isn't guaranteed etc). 4 teams are planned, all named after the UFP's famous past divisions, the Ravens, Harriers, Falcons and the Eagles. All teams will have self-elected representatives or 'commanders'.
If you do not wish to plan to be on a team, do not worry, I will place you in a team that has spaces and where you will best fit according to your skill level.
VICTORY
The team that is successful will all be awarded with the Combat Readiness Medal if not already on the member's medal roster. Also, each member of the winning team will receive a £5 worth Amazon voucher or equivalent in STO's Zen premium currency which they may use to whatever purchase they wish.
For 12 months after the conclusion of the tournament, the winners will also be allowed to have signatures which state they were the winners of the The 2015 UFP Elite Force Disintegration Tournament. (2014 style signature only)
