Bondgadget's Retirement from FEO

It is with regrettable sadness that I have to announce Bondgadget's retirement from the Federation Executive Office in the coming days. After many years of service, Bondgadget is leaving to better things in life and freeing himself of the UFP chains (:mrgreen: joke of course). I'm sure Bondgadget would like to add his own words to this thread, but for me:

Thank You. You have contributed a great deal to the UFP while both in and out of FEO and your insights in discussions have always been interesting, regardless of whether they align with others' . I hope I and others that have come and gone, have left a lasting impression on you that will ensure you pop by from time to time. There have been many peaks and troughs, but you've stuck with it and that certainly reflects upon you positively.

With this sad news, comes some changes to the Office of External Affairs. Whilst FEO will remain the same in structure and personnel, the responsibilities of Head of External Affairs will be shared between the current roles of Head of External Operations and the Head of News (OEA CO and FNS CO respectively). Daedalus’ position as the Acting Head of External Affairs will now include being the focal point of all external communications between UFPlanets.com and other entities. Daedalus will receive the provisional rank of Admiral as a result.

With respect to the Federation News Service, KraziyK has been appointed as the new Acting Head of News. The work he has done over the past few of months has been exemplary. A driving force for presenting and developing news for the community, I look forward to reading his articles from the beaches of Risa. KraziyK will be promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral.

Both Daedalus and KraziyK will report to myself and the rest of FEO as a whole.

Please join me in firstly wishing farewell to Mr Bondgadget76, I'm sure he'll appreciate the comments. Secondly, please also join me in congratulating the very capable Daedalus and KraziyK. I'm confident they will do good work to reflect Cehus' and Bondgadget's legacies.

Farewell Bond! I wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavours! It's definitely going to leave a gap for most people, whilst I did not know Bondgadget very well, the limited interactions I had with him have always been enjoyable, usually had a good joke to two!

Congratulations to Daedalus and KraziyK on your promotions!

Thank you for your service Bond! You've helped shape this community to what it is today and that shall not be forgotten. It's always hard to step away from something you've poured years of your life in but sometimes it is to your benefit. I wish you well and please do stop by.

I'm also not surprise to see Daedalus and Kraziyk's name featured here. I feel with these two sourced to undertake the Head of External Affairs that we are in good hands. I wish you both great success and congratulations on your respective promotions.

It's been good working with you where we have interacted and also fun when it has not been UFP related of course, but the latter is more that I don't think you'll just vanish, so there will be plenty of entertaining times ahead as well! While you might be busy now, don't forget to say hi every so often!

Bond, best of luck in all your future endeavors. Your contributions and dedication to UFP have left a lasting impression on all of us and we are much the better for it. You will be sorely missed here and I do hope that you can drop by and see us from time to time. Take care and farewell.

You have served well and with honor, Bond.... and I am sure someone will miss you! OK, just kidding about that last part. You are definitely leaving a huge hole for someone to fill and your contributions to the fleet will truly be missed.

I remember many many years ago as RPG-X CO having to ban you from the server for n00bing Who would have imagined many years later you would not only become a valued member of the RPG-X community, but also sit on the FEO!? It's been wonderful watching your journey and being a part of it in the early bits. I always enjoyed our conversations and have considered you a friend, even though situations in later years lead to new opportunities for both of us. I wish you all the best as you begin new endeavors--and I do hope you'll still drop in from time to time in RPG-X!
