Some New Members - Welcome!

Hi all - As many will have noticed, we've had a few extra members join us in the past few days and so firstly, I'd like to welcome them to the United Federation of Planets. As you can imagine, we always like it when people join us in having fun, whether it be discussions on here or in-game events and choosing the UFP as their new home.

With my thanks to Starfleet Command, we're running a few extra events in the coming weeks which will help people settle in, have their questions answered and hopefully, get to know others already here etc.

The reason behind these wonderful people coming to this side of the internet is due to a few things going on at 12th Fleet at the moment, which we've been sorry to hear but hope things resolve themselves shortly. As such though, there may be others which also choose to come over to UFPlanets.com, and so therefore I ask we continue to give them a warm welcome.

So a special thanks to our command teams for their swift action and again, a welcome to our new members.

Thanks Lynx and UFP for the warm welcome to all the newly arrived ex-12th members. It is great having been able to press a plan of action into service swiftly. I do hope people settle in quickly.

I was a little worried about the move but those I've spoken to have been wonderful and I see now why people have such good things to say about UFP.

Yup, love the chatbox and love the emotes work in it, hehehe thats going to be fun.

Thanks for the welcome, as you may or may not have gathered we like to have a little fun from time to time. Some of us ex-12th'ers will post some antics every now and then.

I'll try to be at the meet and greet on sunday. So who around here do I speak to about becoming El Presidente?

Please listen to me when I tell you this... DON'T GIVE HIM ANY POWER!!!!

He's a tyrant and will do anything and everything to gain as much power as he can however he can get it.....

In conclusion.... Patrick is one of the best people you could know and would do a fine job if given a position of trust

But thank you all for the warm welcome, it's been a bit daunting to change fleets after being in one for years, but I'm really liking UFP so far. And I definitely approve of the chatbox

i agree, quite daunting. I was in the 12th for nearly 5 years and command for most of it and even the executive officer of the fleet so it's quite an adjustment to switch fleets to a new way of doing things..

I was one of the recent recruits and former 12th members, and I must say, this feels like a great place to call home. I'm getting vibes here that feel an awful lot like the ones from 2012 when I first joined 12th - a good sense of community, of support, and of positivity. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
