Three of Seven introduces the meeting and explains the general setup. All attendees of the meeting are recorded. Meeting begins:-

MAJOR NEWS OR ANNOUNCEMENTS - LynxMukka

• Feedback received from the recent Roll Call will be posted by LynxMukka in due course, once everything is in and comments have been made etc.
• The recent merger with 12th Fleet is now largely complete, as people will have seen an increase in member numbers.
• FEO and shortly SFC, will be reviewing how we can improve the way we thank our donators while also giving people an easy option to donate on a more regular basis without having to keep going back in the system. Also we’re looking at the possibilities for a virtual UFP shop of sorts.
• LynxMukka also made a brief announcement that FEO has been working on a new website for the past few months and will continue to do so. Our goals with the project is to maintain a Star Trek (sci-fi) feel while creating a more usable website with modern HTML5 features/techniques.

QUICK UPDATES

• Dentari (FAB): Recruitment Team: Moving forward successfully. UFPAC Planning underway. OEA now officially a part of FAB under McClintock. Exploring UFP Avatar support. FAB forum rearrangement due in October.
• Jordan (Tech): None.
• Sharpkiller (Tech): Nothing in addition to what LynxMukka has said.
• Ashley (HoK): HoK is still looking for new Battle Officers, There will soon be going up a post about the upcoming Champion Standing Tournament and we are working on a couple other things but are not disclosing anything at this time.
• Begotten (SFO): Logistics: new Logistics Officer will be hired, Research holding is progressing nicely on UFP Main and 2nd, the Armada system allows for donating outside the UFP. Quartermaster/bank: 2 new Quartermasters will be hired and a Raffle Event will be held.
• Bill (ESF): As requested on the latest ESF community poll, we are adding events in various time zones and adding new types of events to help meet the needs of the community.
• Keenan (ESF): Got two teams for STF Friday, thank you for the great turnout. Hopefully we will get more members to make an effort to attend. Always looking for more ESF recruits to join.
• KerryMalone (SFO): Reminder that Research Lab won’t be provisioned quickly after it maxes out, and to be patient with that. Update on SFO Events is that things are going well with those, with the addition of a new weekly event. Requested people to consider becoming an Away Team Leader so as to help put on more events, especially in the NA timezones. Advised people to ask SFO staff if they need help either ingame or on TS.
• Sammygm (SFHolo): Over the past couple of weeks, Holodeck has seen a significant growth in Star Wars The Old Republic with new members joining our guild on a regular basis. Holodeck also announced their latest Executive Officer, Alexandria. We’re also looking for more event officers of all time zones.
• Stormy (FNS): FNS has a new XO (Stormy). We are looking for more staff writers. We always welcome article, column, review, and editorial submissions by non-fns staff members. Just drop stormy or kraziyk a line. Obviously it should be related to our standard news beats. We are working on bringing better quality news over quanitity. I.e. more interviews, longer form, more informative, etc. Instead of regurgitating the same thing all the news outlets post.
• Three of Seven (HoS): A STO Newsletter will be going out, with contributions from CL4 volunteers of the UFP, a link was provided for them to read and contribute to. The first newsletter will go out in October. The permissions for officers within STOs UFPlanets channel are also being reviewed.
• Zach (OEA): FED Armada full! Still looking for KDF Gammas, if you know people, forward them to McClintock. As with many other Departments and Divisions, OEA is looking for new Liaison Officers. The job opening is up until tomorrow.

REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING ACTION POINTS - Three of Seven

• Silynn to create a thread discussing TeamSpeak channels, Silynn was not here to respond to this and moves to a future meeting.
• Meeting to be held between gaming divisions, this has occurred and Three of Seven will be posting the notes in the CL5 office. She also provided a brief summary for the channel on what was discussed.
• A meeting was to be held between Kerry, Three, Ashley and Deadalus, the meeting took place.
• A question was set to be put to the membership asking for input on NA event coverage, a thread was created by Three to ask this question.

AGENDA ITEMS
NA Timezones and TeamSpeak, brought up by McClintock

• McClintock unable to attend, this will be discussed at a later meeting.

Status of the Romulan Imperial Guard, brought up by Three of Seven

• Three mentioned that a member wished to look into the possibility of bringing back the Romulan Imperial Guard in some form.
• A lengthy discussion was held among the whole of the channel, the large view appeared to be against bringing RIG back in some form, following this a vote was held between CL6/CL5 members and there was a 100% vote against.
• It was suggested to the members in the room who would like for this to move forward to put up a poll to see how many members as a whole are in favour.

SPECIFIC MEMBER QUESTION

• Infinity asked “What's the purpose of the Planetary System on the Forums?” to which Jordan replied that there is no current purpose at the moment, it was originally going to be used for Olympics, however this didn’t happen.
• Solace asked Lynx what elements of LCARS we would lose from the new website, Lynx answered by saying that we would lose a significant amount of elements.
• Solace asked if accounts would be lost or migrated, to which Sharpkiller answered that they would be migrated.
• Tullius asked about fleets in the armada who lockout Fleet Mark donations but can contribute to the UFP fleets and if anything was being done about this. Three answered by stating that the current standing policy is that armada fleets can set incoming donations as they wish however it is on the agenda for the upcoming Armada Delegate Meeting. Kerry also added that we can’t lockout incoming contributions to the UFP fleets because this would prevent UFP members donating to 2nd or 3rd.
• Tullius asked about Beta fleets holding reserve fleets with limited activity and not adding much to the armada, if there is any way to remove them. Three answered by stating that a Beta fleet only has to reserve 2 slots for the UFP, they can use 1 Gamma slot for their own choosing, however this can be raised at the upcoming Armada Delegate Meeting.
