You do know they also nerfed (Stealthy) the bloom on the cross hairs (faster) and the vertical travel (increased) when continuously firing. It's not in the patch notes for the 36's. Sad when the dev hide things like this. They also for some reason reversed the pull right to pull left but the figures are the same, just opposite directions.

Now that I think of it I did notice slight differences in the recoil and stability. I read the patch notes before logging in to the game as well and no other nerfs to the G36 was listed. Is it disappointing? Yes. Is it surprising? Not quite. In my experience, almost all MMOs I played that had PvP will have stealth nerfs either not listed in patch notes or it's vaguely filed under "general fixes".

To be fair the G36's are still damn good but I'm not at the top end of the game.

In terms of damage per bullet, G36 is still the best among assault rifles even after the nerf. I will still use them.

On a more positive note, season pass holders will get supply drops on the 1st and 15th day every month. They contain high end gear which is scaled based on the highest gear scores of your currently equipped items. The supply drop will be located in the PvE areas not in the Dark Zone, go to a marked location to fight npcs protecting the supply drop and pick up the loot afterwards.

The supply drop for season pass holders does indeed drop on the 1st and 15th of the month. The rewards from the supply crate also scales with your current slotted gear and weapons so be sure to have your highest scores of your items equipped before you reach the drop zone.

Today is the second round of the supply drops. It appears the drop location is the same the first time. I don't know if it is different for everyone.

So I collected the loot from the supply crate and my two characters each picked up a 229 First Wave Vector. These would have been super awesome if I didn't have 229 Enhanced PP-19 already. lol It's funny how I wanted the highest level First Wave Vector since the beginning of the game and later I get a pair of them when I already have a smg with higher base damage and high magazine capacity. Though the one advantage the Vector has over the PP-19 is the under-barrel mod slot which can give the Vector better accuracy or stability.

Still, RNG was very generous to give me two 229 First Wave Vectors along with some 268 gear set pieces.

The YouTuber Skill Up posted a video last week, a Top Ten list of issues in The Division.


As I am primarily a PvE player, the NPCs are definitely an issue as there is a major difference between hard difficulty NPCs and challenge difficulty NPCs in terms of how much health they have and the amount of damage done to players.

Gear score is another issue, a system I haven't liked as it is an inaccurate measurement of how good an item actually is. Being kicked from groups because of gear score is a problem as well and it's been a problem well before the Underground expansion was added to the game. Whenever I queue up either in Underground or for daily challenge missions, one of two things will happen:
1) Matchmaker designates me as group leader and players reject invites. Players rejecting invites is frustrating to me but I completely understand, as I will explain below.
2) I get kicked from the group because of my gear score, frequently. This pisses me off the most because 90% of the time I have a four-piece set bonus equipped (at least 2 pieces or more are 268 GS) and using 229 primary and 204 secondary weapons which brings my score anywhere between 243 and 249. Even if I hit 250, I still get kicked. It's no wonder why players are rejecting invites and instead waiting for the matchmaker to designate them as group leader because they are sick and tired of being kicked. I honestly think gear scores should be done away with completely. It is utterly broken due to how it is an inaccurate measurement of how good something is and it is simply stupid how players are dumb enough to think the system measures player skill as well. It was not needed to begin with and the color coded system worked just fine.

The devs at Massive invited players to a 3-day trip to their headquarters in Sweden to get direct feedback from various members of the Division community in order to address the numerous issues currently affecting the game. Players were asked to submit applications for the invite and were selected from the official forums, podcasters, Reddit, YouTube (MarcoStyle was among the players who accepted the invite).

Skill Up interviewed Deep Fried Dave, a player/podcaster who went to Sweden. I was glad to hear about the interaction between the players and the various development teams working on specific aspects of the game, extensive dialogue between the devs and players. So I am excited that something meaningful was happening.




Then even more positive news from the devs followed. Better loot drops with increased drop frequency, player-scaled open world PvE (meaning getting awesome gear/weapons without the PvP gank-fest of the DZ). This so far is the best idea I've heard for giving players a viable option to gear up for end-game content and is something I and many other players have asked for a long time.
