    So there was not a lot of feedback in my first thread last week, so I thought I'd toss up a poll and see what theme everyone would be interested in. If you like to read short stories, or write them yourself, please let me know via this poll what kind of theme you'd like.

    You can choose from these options:
    • General Trek - anything in the Trek universe
    • NuTrek - for those of you who want to delve into JJ's Trek world
    • TOS Era - in light of the STO announcement, this might be fun to explore
    • "Normal" Continuum - stories based on the post-Nemesis (or maybe post-Hobus) era, keeping with the normal timeline of the non-JJ movies

    Those are the only ones I was considering for the return to the competition. Vote and comment if you so desire!

    I have the writing skills of a potato, a very lousy potato. But I'm definitely interested to see what people come up with, having read the previous winners entry there are definitely some very good writers within the UFP.

    I'd be quite happy with just general Trek or TOS era. Broader the range of stories and themes the better in my opinion!

    I was sorely tempted to vote for 'NuTrek' but really I don't think anyone could improve on the work of Roberto 'I hate Star Trek fans' Orci, when death has been cured by super blood and starships have been rendered obsolete thanks to quadrant to quadrant portable transporter technology where can you go from there? Klingon Grin

    Ended up going with TOS instead, nice to see TOS making something of a return.
