There will always be more wars occurring for whatever the reason is that comes up. I just hope we have learned our lesson of the ferocity of war and how much it can affect so many others.
You don't think we'll eventually grow out of wars with each other? It seems to me like a phase we have to go through, one we'll eventually grow out of when we realize the pointlessness of it.

I mentioned earlier that I hope we'll find something that the world has in common, something similar to First Contact. Maybe an easily accessible energy source for the world that somehow dodges all our pre-established energy sources? Something we call all relate to and share that will finally unite us.

I hope we do grow out of wars, it's just realistically we're having a hard time of finding the common ground which will end wars. War doesn't solve the world's problems. It actually creates more because the original problem wasn't solved.

I won't stop hoping we'll end fighting battles, often the same one over and over again. It's just what can we do to unify ourselves without losing who we are?

Did the planets of the United Federation of Planets lose who they were when they joined? Did we lose who we were when we joined UFPlanets.com?

We can join forces and still keep our unique social/religious beliefs and traditions. We join groups and unite based on shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes us as a group.
