Probably about time I did this and, to be honest, I am writing this at 2:30 AM and not quite sure what to write, which is probably a pretty good metaphor for how my brain works most of the time. When it comes to which Star Trek I enjoy, I have the sometimes controversial opinion of all of them (prime universe, the new stuff is just a bit off somehow) with DS9 as my personal favourite! I am now sitting here thinking that this may not be so controversial an opinion as the only basis I have for that assumption is a few friends, oh well. That, conveniently, brings me on to my next (unplanned) point: I overthink EVERYTHING! You may see something as a trivial matter, but for some reason I treat everything like a member of S31; constantly evaluating and then re-evaluating all of the possible consequences of the trivial matter of typing this out, and ultimately deciding not to do it at all, so please, bare with me if you are to ever have a conversation with me.
I like to think that I know an awful lot about Trek and its lore, but I probably don't, and I am only really consistently good with ship design. So, if you have a question about trek, feel free to ask - I will be happy to answer, but don't treat my answer as 100% fact; it probably isn't (ah, I seem to be overthinking things again).

Welcome to the community!
And... nothing really good happens after 2AM. It's always after "last call" for drinks, and people tend to make poor (if not funny) decisions at that time.
So... if you are going to do something after 2AM, hopefully it will be online and in-game where the consequences can be a funny story later.
