Timelines: I saw the announcement identifying 2380's following TNG, DS9, Voyager timelines : 2387 Nemesis.

Eagles, Myself and the Admiral most recent log's begin around Stardate 65468.4 - September 28, 2387 - 06:30:48 so I presume any earlier log entries are a matter of record (things that occurred in the past) that create the story for our future Captain's.

2380's Romulan Situation
Sela (Daughter of Tasha Yar & High Ranking Romulan Admiral) tried unsuccessfully to overthrow the Senate a decade earlier, then Shinzon successfully overthrew the Romulan Government in 2387, as a result Picard and the Enterprise was ordered by Starfleet to investigate in Nemesis. Many in the Romulan Senate & Military had not supported Shinzon, but he took control a result of having partnered with Reman's who helped to build the Scimitar, but was later stopped by Picard after being aided by two Romulan Military Officer's. Shortly after this incident in 2387 the Hobus Star a close neighbor to the Romulus System exploded in a Super Nova causing Romulus & Remus to be destroyed. This resulted in an event that saw the disappearance of Spock not too long after the failed coup d'état by Shinzon. Romulan's are battling some internal conflicts, destruction of Hobus which resulted in the Romulus being destroyed, and many colonies were resisting the Imperial Navy & Tal Shiar under the leadership of D'Tan who appeared in TNG with Spock, as the two were trying to reunite their common ancestry toward a more peaceful future between their people..

2380's Klingon Tensions caused by Dominion
Gowron's positions have ranged from hearing minor disputes before the Council to attacking Cardassia and breaking the Khitomer Alliance with an uncooperative Federation in early 2372, all due to Dominion manipulation. After refusing to return captured Cardassian space, he even provoked a war with the UFP a year later thanks to a Shapeshifter double of his military aide, Gen. Martok, by insisting on the return of the Archanis sector after over a century. When the need for a united front against the Dominion reasserted itself some months later, though, he did agree to reinstate the Khitomer accords with a contingent at DS9.

2371 The events of Star Trek Generations. The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) is destroyed – the stardrive section by a warp core breach; the saucer section containing the crew makes a forced landing on Veridian III. The ship is subsequently declared a total loss. James T. Kirk reappears from the temporal continuum in which he had been since his disappearance in 2293; Kirk is killed on Veridian III (Kirk is resurrected a month later in a subsequent story).

2371–2378 The events of Star Trek: Voyager.
The USS Voyager is stranded in the Delta Quadrant by the "Caretaker".

2372 Sovereign-class USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E) launched under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard

2373 The events of Star Trek: First Contact.

2373–2375 The Dominion War is fought. After devastating losses on both sides, The Federation, alongside the Romulan and Klingon Empires in 2375 make a final push against the Dominion resulting in the Battle of Cardassia. The Dominion subsequently surrenders to the Federation. With the Klingon military in ruins, and the Cardassian Union shattered, The Federation and Romulan Empire emerge from the conflict as the only major powers with the influence to affect Alpha Quadrant politics.

2375 The events of Star Trek: Insurrection.[48] Dialogue in this film and in the DS9 finale "What You Leave Behind" place the chronology of this film as during that episode, after the final battle of the war but before the treaty signing ceremony. Most notable in the film is Worf's ability to leave the station to join the Enterprise, as well as a line about Federation diplomats being involved in Dominion negotiations, and the Federation's willingness to work with the Son'a, who are established as a Dominion ally during the war.

2378 With the help of a future Admiral Janeway, the USS Voyager returns to the Alpha Quadrant. ("Endgame")

2379 The events of Star Trek: Nemesis, resulting in the death of Lieutenant Commander Data. Discovery of previously unknown Android named "B-4", a prototype android similar in design to Lt. Commander Data but has a notably less developed Positronic Network. The Enterprise returns to Earth for repairs. Picard bids farewell to newly promoted Captain Riker, who is off to command the USS Titan and begin a possible peace-negotiation mission with the Romulans. Picard meets with B-4, discovering that Data had copied the engrams of his neural net into B-4's positronic matrix before he "died". Though B-4 does not yet act as Data, Picard is assured that he will become like his friend in time.

2395 The "Future" in the Star Trek: The Next Generation series finale ("All Good Things...")

I have it in the main thread that we do have Hobus happening so that is set. I also recently added that we are in the year 2387 and will move to 2388 on Jan 1. We won't always move that fast but I wanted Hobus to be a tiny bit in the past as we begin.

As far as the praetor and such, I thought she was on the outs for a while but maybe I am mistaken. I was figuring that after Shinzon and Hobus, things would be quite different. But we can certainly stick with Sela even though I don't think she's that great of a character for the Romulans. Maybe we focus more on the senate and the Galae and the tal'shiar and leave the praetorship out of the picture for a while.

Also, most groups have the Romulans being an easy target by the Klinks and the Feds trying to lend a hand. That's where I see things starting, if even shaky to start.

Folks, I've updated the timeline section of the main post to reflect our 2387 (2388 in 1-2 days) year and how it relates to the current prime universe. Thanks to Strathkin for helping me get that all plotted and finding a good image.

There is a Member List which I am updated in a second, and I will have Mission Packs periodically (next few days for the first one). Otherwise, akin to the Minecraft world, you create a ship and crew, join, and have fun.

If anyone is interested to use as reference... I know you can find these online but are generally referenced as the most reliable Cannon. It nicely shows the Federation, Klingon, Romulan regions in addition to Cardassia, Ferengi and a few others found in lore showing the Star Trek Alpha & Beta Quadrant maps. It's actually very detailed high quality image sadly I don't know where it came from but seems very consistent with Star Trek Cannon; you can even view it in higher detail by clicking on the image to zoom in.
