    Following recent changes in Starfleet Academy, there was a need to hire a new Commanding Officer and a new Executive Officer.

    After careful consideration and deliberation, it is my absolute pleasure to announce that Mark Okuda has been selected to be the new Academy Commandant. Mark brings a host of experience to the role, serving as a Recruit Support Officer and until recently, was the Executive Officer for Starfleet Operations.

    To assist him in the management of the Academy, Connor has been selected to be the new Deputy Commandant. Connor has been an RSO for some considerable time, and has had a previous stint as XO of the Federation News Service.

    Please join me in congratulating these two on their new appointments! Congrats
