Well... I've been a part of UFP before, at the dawn of "Star Trek Infinite Space", the game that died before it was even born. Back then I applied for a Starfleet position around that game, because my PC was... not suitable for STO, so I retired. Years went by, things changed, I can play STO and all sorts of other games nowadays, so I'm back to do this and that and other thing... Mostly, I want to have someone to play games with, and given similar interests with majority of UFP re-joining seems the best course of action. I must say, the application process changed somewhat from what I remember. Weren't there questions about being a part of other fleets in the past (no I haven't) and favourite "Star Trek" character (it's Data)? Oh well... Perhaps I remember wrong, perhaps it's first the sign of dementia. Is there anything else I should've mention? I have a beard. It's a nice beard... Oh yeah, I've been to the academy once already, don't mind starting fresh, just thought it's worth mentioning...
