Interview with Dominic Keating

Greetings UFP,

Avenger is arranging an interview with Dominic Keating who played Lieutenant Malcom Reed on Star Trek: Enterprise. The interview is planned for early February and we wanted to give the community a chance to submit questions for Dominic. So.....just post in this thread any questions you may have and Avenger will try to get him to answer as many as possible.

Dominic, What sort of creative freedom did you have on the show to develop your character, and what aspects to the character were a result of your influence on the writing team?

I actually have two takes on this.
1. It's a great song! I truly love this song.
2. It had no place as the opening theme for a Star Trek series. Period.

I prefer to separate the two because one is not dependent on the other.

Where did the inspiration for this character come from? Was it someone you knew in real life or possibly another character elsewhere?

That's one of the main reasons I didn't watch "Enterprise" when it first aired.
