AHA! Beat Counterattack. Didn't get summon esper, but it may happen later.

Tillith with sleep resist, and then WoL and Ling for ATK/MAG and DEF/SPR breaking. Doesn't need to be WoL or Ling specifically, just somebody with good breaks. Then bring DPS units. Key is to have everybody above 5k HP. That should keep them from being one-shot after the breaks, and Tillith will just heal everybody to full.

Guess I'm farming that mission then!

Do you like tillith as a healer? I been using one from raid banner.

In order to get Counterattack, you need to do the partying action that doesn't do anything (don't hit him).
Then on the 2nd round you'll unlock an insult action, so have everybody do that. Repeat insulting him until he gets angry (K-kupo!) and then you can kill him. Should unlock Counterattack after that.

Tillith is amazing, especially for this. With WoL's ATK/MAG break I take roughly 5k damage on King Mog's attack. Tillith then heals everybody completely, so that's like.... 3-4 curaja's worth of healing.

Flickering Presence is a Fairy, and my Orlandeau has Spirit Killer on right now to deal with the moogle. He should be able to take Flickering Presence out with a Divine Ruination, no? If you did the even you'd have a Holy/Light element greatsword to take advantage as well.

ugh out of gil thanks to the expeditions. Cant find a good source without the turtle event :s Sooo I feel stuck atm.

Four hours. It took me four bloody hours to beat Aigaion, and that's not including the first three attempts.

Final team that worked, doing it the long way because apparently I lacked DPS for the "fast" way, was Tilith, Rikku, Ace, Rem, and 2 Orlandeaus with Fire weapons instead of Light weapons.

Tilith just healed all the time, geared to survive.
Rikku was geared for LB crystals as best I could, she mainly did LB, Synthesis, and Hyper NulAll.
The two would revive if necessary, and it was necessary fairly often. Either Tilith revive with Rikku popping LB, or Rikku revive - it depended on who was downed.
Rem was on auto-revive duty with Undying Wish on Orlandeau (the one with the highest ATK, who was the one who got one-shot by the left arm). She switched to Boomarang when it was no longer necessary - though even with the Left Arm down I had to use it to make sure everybody was up.
Ace was my MP battery, and he also had Bushido - Freedom to dispel.
The Orlandeaus obviously did Divine Ruination for my damage, and even with a Spark Elemental chain it took forever. Plus if one fell down even after being auto-revived I wouldn't be able to chain. Also they Finger Snapped quite a few times because Ace couldn't stay alive (which is why Rem had to auto-revive even after the Left Arm was killed).

That was insane. Four hours!

I really want this katana from this raid. Finding these items in time though I dont think is going to happen lol.

What do you mean by items? I'm flooded full of the crafting mats from the raid pulls, they're being really stingy with the moogles, cactaurs, and gil snappers this time around.

The Black Metal comes from the individual rewards, though.

Individual Completion points determine how far along the Individual Reward track you are.
That's the important one, as raid-exclusive rewards have thus far all been on the Individual Reward track.

Rankings is just how your points compare to others', and it's generally unimportant. A moogle or two, and a few summon tickets.

If you only have 350k points you're in trouble, since an ELT run only gives 20k and the Black Box is 1.9 mil, which means you'd need 76 more ELT runs before the event ends.
