Sounds pretty good. And with a potentialnship sale soon I foresee a fairly soonish release timetable too you reckon?
New ships aren't normally on sale these days but their release does tend to coincide with a ship sale quite often.

The one you're talking about Gunges was the USS Saratoga variant (Captain Sisko's ship he was XO on during the battle of Wolf 359), the studio model of which was a modification of the original USS Reliant from TWOK made by Industrial Light and Magic. Wouldn't be surprised if they actually did use X-Wing parts for it.

ILM was not involved in the production of Star Trek except for the movies and the first episode of TNG.

very nice! ive never been a fan of the Miranda but perhaps ill pick one up just to keep my collection going.... also makes you wonder if there is going to eventually be a T6 movie Constitution upgrade.. I know there is a TOS T6 & Kelvin Constitution but an update to Constitution (A) design is much needed..... an edition of the original series bridges would be nice also...

I would love tho see that as well, but I am not sure if this will happen since all variants of the Connie are conected with the Temporal T6 Connie.

I remember reading that they would like to redo the MP Connie, but it is at the bottom of the list of things to do, since they cant make any more money on it. Unless maybe they sold it with a MP themed bridge set and shuttle craft.

I guess the TMP Connie would only ever be done if the ship art team did it in their free time. That's where most of these re-releases are coming from. Cryptic want a new T6 ship and if there's a lower tier version it's up to the ship artist to make a new skin in their own time by the looks of it.

Pity really as this new Miranda is probably the best canon accurate model we've ever had. It really adds to the Trek feeling to be able to fly a ship that is so close to the movies or shows.

Unfortunately they said that they did not have time to make the Soyuz class and the Centaur model will also receive no update.
