Good afternoon, everyone!
Though a process that has taken far longer than I intended (and through no shortage of blood, sweat and tears) Starfleet Academy has appointed a new Deputy Commandant to assist with the daily running and wider progression of Starfleet Academy. While a relative newcomer to the community compared to some of the other candidates, the work slave Executive Officer I've chosen moving forward is an ambitious, eager, and enthusiastic individual who showed admirable drive and presented some interesting and certainly thought-provoking suggestions during the interview process.
With that in mind, please join me congratulating the new Deputy Commandant of Starfleet Academy - T'Tan!
T'Tan has time and time again proven himself to be a diligent and enthusiastic member of Starfleet Academy who's intentions for the department align well with my own. Though I received no shortage of suitable candidates, it became quickly clear that T'Tan was the most suited for the role moving forward. As a newcomer to CL5 I hope you'll all treat him gently and offer your encouragement moving forward. Congratulations, T'Tan!

I am excited with this new role - even as a Vulcan - and I am looking forward to working with Connor and all others in FEO, SFC and Academy to help building a bright future of the Academy and the UFP. I have to thank Connor for the trust he is putting in me. And I am glad that we are working in such a great team as we have in the Academy! Romulan Ale is indeed on me.
