A warrior's farewell
Today is a sad day for the House of Kular and the Empire, our friend Chase who has shown courage, bravery and honor has decided to step down as the Commanding Officer for the House of Kular. His decision to step down is the result of his limited free time becoming a U.S.M.C. Osprey Pilot.
While I made it sound we will never see him again, he will return to us once his time will allow it and my blade will be ready for that day.
Last but not least Chase himself wanted to say some words:
It comes with great sadness that I have to step down from my positions due my inability to give them the attention that they deserve. I have continually been optimistic that my real life obligations would eventually slow down, but it turns out that they have only increased. I would like to take this time to thank everyone for the incredible expedience it has been being able to serve with you. The UFP community has become a family to me.
From meeting brand new members giving their first event a try as a new event leader, to serving on the House of Kular staff and interacting with with the FEO, everyone in this community has been so supportive and welcoming. It is the type of community that makes volunteering a fun and rewarding experience. It has truly been an honor being staff member of this community. I would love to encourage more and more people to give volunteering a try. It may seem intimidating at first, but once you talk the plunge, you will notice how much of a rewarding experience it is. I can't wait to pop back in from time to time between my extended training exercises and deployments.
