Could everyone check out and "Like" the USS Audacity? It's site is https://www.facebook.com/ussaudacity/. Living up to the humanitarian aid aspect of Starfleet.

"Being a member of a science fiction club isn't just about cosplay, games, and watching re-runs. It's about getting involved in the community. Blood drives, Toys-For-Tots, collecting old coats... It's about public service among many other things."

Can you explain a little about what this facebook page actually is? Is it some type of roleplay?

Edit: Had to scroll down a ton to find out but it seems like a pretty cool group of people, can't see any IRL pictures of them assisting which is a shame.

On the "About" page, it says, "Being a member of a science fiction club isn't just about cosplay, games, and watching re-runs. It's about getting involved in the community. Blood drives, Toys-For-Tots, collecting old coats... It's about public service among many other things." I'll add this to the original post.

It's not a type of roleplay and they're active in their community, too. They might wear subtle allusions to ST, but it's mostly a charity.

It's brand new, just getting off the ground. No pictures, yet.
