Archer was born in 2112 and Discovery is suppose to be in 2254...McCoy lived to be 137 years old in 2364...so....

Scott Bakula could come back and play an old 142-year-old Archer haha Jonathan Archer would be 145 in 2257 when his beagle disappeared.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Star_Trek

"In 2258 of the alternate reality created by Nero's attack on the USS Kelvin, Archer was still an admiral in Starfleet. Montgomery Scott attempted to prove his theories about transwarp beaming by beaming Admiral Archer's prized beagle."

"...Star Trek writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci confirmed that the Archer mentioned in Star Trek is a reference to Enterprise, and later confirmed that it is, indeed, the same Jonathan Archer. Jonathan Archer would be 145 in 2257, although it was never actually stated when Scotty used the dog."

I've always wondered just how old was that dog??!?!

I mean if Archer is going to be around 145 that dog must be nearly the same age and in doggie years that would be madness. Unless he just got Beagles each time one died, maybe he was on his 10th Porthos or something.

haha for real, I thought of that, too. I posted this on FB and it blew up. It got like 20 Likes and Loves and than someone shared it and it got 95 more haha. I think a lot of people want to see Archer come back, or at least, Scott Bakula haha.
