Hopped on STO tonight and decided to run some ad-hoc missions. I asked in UFPlanets chat to see if people wanted to come along and do some random TFO's.

We got quite a few good runs in tonight, except for that we got 3 random grounds IN A ROW! The RNG was not with us at the beginning lol.

We had quite an interesting chat about Discovery S3 and the state of Trek in general. It was awesome hanging out with everyone!

I jumped in towards the end of the runs and tested my new Titan Destroyer in HSE, although I messed up my tray and didn't have subnucleonic beam on whoops! I hope everyone had fun and I'll see you next week

Wow! Amazing turnout tonight, big welcome to Meropenem who joined us from UFPlanets chat! Special thanks to Pedigo and Morris for leading teams tonight, much appreciated!

Congratulations to all who got new DPS records! I hear it was a very impressive evening!

And now a word from Pedigo:
"Our team started strong with the Storming the Spire and an ISE. Soon after, things devolved into chaos as the random button cursed us with every gloriously disliked TFO in Cryptic's arsenal. To cleanse our palates, we finished the night off with another ISE where several team members set personal bests including Meropenem in his first Special Operations event."

I ran team 2 tonight for most of the event with Morris taking over towards the end when Novalance and Sul-Matuul showed up to hang out with us towards the end of the event. Team 2 started off with an ISE for DPS records with some guys from the DPS league.

At that point Minnow decided to hop in with us and we helped him out with some build and ship advice and various other things. We moved onto some random TFO's to get him some marks of any type as he is bringing all his reps up to T5/6 respectively.

The first random we got was BoTSa (Brotherhood of The Sword Advanced) which we rolled through getting all optional objectives. We then got Pahvo ground which took us a little while to get through because we all went in different directions to get the objective done.

At this point Novalance and Sul-Matuul joined us and Morris took over.

After Special Operations Saturday a bunch of us hung around to do some After Hours stuff. Mostly elite runs for those itching to get a few more in before we all disbanded. Pedigo ran the first few runs and I hopped in to finish up with Drannur Gauntlet Elite.

Our group failed the Battle of Binary Stars at the Escape Pod Phase but it seemed to be bugged as it was an instant fail!

It was fun hanging out after hours!

We only went for an hour as people wanted to attend the community meeting so we only managed to get a few runs in. Miles kindly offered to help run Minnow through the Borg Ground TFOs to get some rewards.

Team 2 mostly hung out in Q's winter wonderland and took part in the scheduled events that show up here.

We had an amazing turnout tonight! 10 people overall, a massive special welcome to JiveDutch from the Guardians of Democracy Gamma Federation Fleet! I hope you had some fun and you are always welcome at UFP run events.

We had a few late comers tonight with Pedigo and Hektu jumping in a little bit later in the event, we started off in Q's Winter Wonderland in the Gingerbread Village. To make things a little easier on the seekers I chose areas of the various maps we used to play Hide n Seek that were small and contained where possible.

The first few rounds were limited to the Gingerbread Village, there were some seriously great hiding spots used by some. A few honourable mentions for amazing hiding spots in the village: Jestersmith, Taku and Draco and Admiral X! You really gave the seekers a run for their money at first.

Next map we moved over to Drozana Station as the map is small and there are plenty of places to get creative with hiding spots. Jestersmith was our first seeker and he found a few people pretty quickly but had to go AFK to sort out RL things. Taku handily won this map for hiding in plain sight using the talking emote in a group of NPCs! Well played buddy!

We then moved onto the Old Risa summer map which took quite a while due to the sheer size of the map. After about 25 minutes I called the hunt as nearly everybody had been found and the map was just waaay too big.

Our final map was the "new" or current Risa Map. I imposed some boundaries to make it a little easier as we were hiding within the resort area only to make sure we got more time to rotate seekers and hiders. JiveDutch definitely won this map due to very sneaky locations and hiding in plain sight! Well done mate

The night started off with Pedigo running a 10 man queue will I sorted out the teams for tonight.

Well tonight was amazing we had 3 full teams going tonight it was awesome! I ran Team 3 with Morris as Kerry had wanted to get the Borg Ground Accolades but unfortunately some were unobtainable save the ones on Normal Difficulty. It proved a good opportunity to teach Silek and Togo the borg ground TFOs as it was their first time running through them. You guys did an excellent job in the runs and I hope you enjoyed yourselves.

After that we moved onto doing some randoms before people had to bounce we got dropped into Defense of Starbase 1 which we moved through very quickly! After that everyone decided to call it quits and I hopped into Team 1 led by Pedigo.

A word from Jestersmith:
"My team were machines we did loads of random TFO's tonight." Judging from the amount of TFOs they did very very well!
