    Next update coming for EVE has some interesting things, Alpha players get a boost. This will also be when refineries get added and everything related. Also people who went to EVE Vegas get a nice CONCORD battleship, hopefully it will become more widely available, or I will be sad Sad

    Alpha Ship Balance Pass

    With the deployment of EVE Online: Lifeblood, there’ll be a sizable balance pass to many of the hulls popular among Alpha pilots, in order to give them a little more punch, including a few slot layout and bonus changes that aim to shake up the combat meta a little, and provide new tactical options for these classes of hull.

    I know they call it a rebalance, but its far more of a stealth-nerf than anything on two of the better Gallente ships in the game at the lower skill-end.

    Nobbling the Tristan's speed by adding tonnage was rather mean, as it wasn't the fastest frigate by a long-shot, but it was quite manoeuvrable. Its the Vexor nerf that's the real story of this piece - with the reduction of Power Grid by 100, its going to make tank fits very challenging. However, more's to the point, its going to make fitting turrets on it virtually impossible if you want a tank. You can either have offensive capabilities beyond drones, or you can have drones and be tanky, to a limited degree.

    The other ships aren't as widely used, and some are very niche ships, like the Arbitrator which is exclusively an e-war ship. Most of the fixes they've done won't be felt by average players.

    Bit concerned that they're "looking at T1 Battleships, Faction/Pirate ships & T2 variants next", as that means they're going to boost the ships that don't get used, and nerf the best ones.
