I was sorting out my room a few days ago and came across some old school work, titled "Investigating Osmosis", it is really an exciting read and exceptionally scientific. I am typing it up here for everyone to enjoy and possibly get a laugh out of it. There is a diagram that I have recreated in paint, I have also preserved any spelling and grammatical errors.

    Investigating Osmosis

I am going to investigate the osmosis in potatoes. I am going to find out if the level of osmosis differs between different potatoes.

I am going to use 6 beakers I will then fill up each beaker to 100ml of water.
I will cut 6 equal cylinders of potato and put one in each beaker.
I will add 1 teaspoon of suger in the in the 2nd beaker, 2 in the 3rd, 3 in the 4th, 4 in the 5th, 5 in the 6th and 0 in the first.
I will then leave the beakers for 45 minutes.
I messured each bit of potato to make sure they weighed the same, they each waigh 0.2g

    ##### Weight Before Weight After Difference
    Potato 1 0.2g 0g 0.2g
    Potato 2 0.2g 0.2g 0g
    Potato 3 0.2g 0.1g 0.1g
    Potato 4 0.2g 0g 0.2g
    Potato 5 0.2g 0.2g 0g
    Potato 6 0.2g 0.3g 0.1g

    ##### Weight Before Weight After Difference
    Potato 1 0.2g 0.4g 0.2g
    Potato 2 0.2g 0.7g 0.5g
    Potato 3 0.2g 0.7g 0.5g
    Potato 4 0.2g 0.8g 0.6g
    Potato 5 0.2g 0.8g 0.6g
    Potato 6 0.2g 0.9g 0.9g

The difference of the osmosis produced by the potatoes veries by the amount of suger in the water.
The more suger this is contained in the water, the more the weight of the potatoe goes.

My first experiment went wrong and I don't why but I managed to get a set of results that worked better in the seconde one.
    There's a reason I didn't become a scientist.
