    Looking forward to this.

    Doug Jones and Jason Issacs in particular are standing head and shoulders (no pun intended) above the rest of the cast so far. Very impressive when Issacs has only had one episode so far.

    Is it just me, or do these teasers get more vague every time?
    Not that I expect them to remotely resemble the actual episode. The last one certainly didn't.
    This one has me going "meh".

    That said, I had expected the creature to remain under wraps for a couple of episodes at least.

Oh w8, because if i don't i'm forced to take a netflix subscription which i refuse to comply with because http://www.nieuwsmash.nl/netflix-verhoogt-prijzen/ (Netflix raises prices for new and current subscribers) and i only want to watch Discovery, not anything else Netflix can offer!!!
    I resist, i protest! Let me pay for Discovery only, and i'll gladly do so!
    I'll probably end up buying the dvd/bluray boxes....

    So I have now caught up (waiting for episode 4) and I can say I am pleasantly suprised by Discovery and I am really enjoying it, however I am unsure as to way the crew of discovry/fed citizens blame Burnham personally for kicking everything off! Or am I missing something?

    Burnham has become infamous as the "Starfleet Mutineer" at the Battle of the Binary Stars which kicked the war off, so having been convicted of disobeying orders and court marshalled out of Starfleet, her actions of disregarding the Captain, destabilising events aboard the Shenzhou, are, rightly or wrongly, held as being responsible for the mess the Federation now finds itself in. There's also the matter of her killing T'Kuvma, despite her expressly stating that was exactly what they shouldn't do as it would make him a martyr and symbol to the Klingon Empire that would drive them to fight.

    That being said, Lorca seems to be of the opinion that she was on the right track about firing first and comes across as more open towards maverick actions, though you get the impression he'll go through Burnham for a shortcut if she pushes her luck too far.
