Regarding the novel, which novel was it? If you are really into the TNG crew/ship/era, a great series to start with is "A Time to..."

Regarding the novel, which novel was it? If you are really into the TNG crew/ship/era, a great series to start with is "A Time to..."
It takes place between Insurrection and Nemesis and does a wonderful job of getting into the crews' stories and lives.
It was so long ago I vaguely remember the story. It was about Bashir having to stop another genetically enhanced doctor working for Section 31 or something like that. He massacred a bunch of Romulans I think. But I forget how it ended.
Were there ever any books written about Sisco after DS9 ended? I always wanted more story on his relationship with the prophets, and what happened if and when he returned. I always hoped for a new show after DS9, but all anyone wants to do is either rewrite the Original, or take us back before TOS's time. I guess that's why I like STO so much.

It's a bit old, but Federation by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens was an amazing novel in my opinion. Set in TNG, it should have been made into a movie.
